Join the Great Australian Bike Ride

Feet to the pedals, mind on the goal, the riders will be the heart and lungs of the Great Australian Bike Ride. If you’re a passionate rider or just someone who wants a huge challenge here’s your chance. Get on your bike, get on the ride and join the team. It’s going to be a once in a lifetime experience.

For those people who want to be involved for shorter sections of the journey or just for a day, you have to be registered so the organisers can arrange catering and  accommodation.

You can be a part of the ride when it comes to your town. We’re looking for community organisations to help us feed and accommodate the riders and support crew at some of the smaller towns or in the more remote areas. If you are part of a community organisation that can arrange a meal or you can spare a bed for a night for one or more of our riders then please contact us at admin@greataustralianbikeride.org.au

The Great Australian Bike Ride is a nine-stage ride around the country that began in Melbourne on March 21st and will finish back there on October 10th. This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in a healthy challenge for a good cause. Whether it's for a few days or a few weeks here's your chance to be part of a great cycling event that is raising funds for, and awareness of, the research into mental illness being supported by Australian Rotary Health.
